There is only one Santa in the parade. Please do not include a live Santa in your entry.
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR YOU TO ORGANIZE YOUR UNIT, SO PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY!
THE PARADE IS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10 AND STARTS PROMPTLY AT NOON- RAIN OR SHINE.
STAGING/CHECK IN FOR PARADE ENTRANTS WILL BEGIN AT 10:30 A.M AND WILL CLOSE AT 11:30 AM
LATE ARRIVALS WILL REMOVED AND THEIR ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE ANNOUNCER’S LIST.
THE CHECK IN/REGISTRATION DESK WILL BE ON RICE RANCH ROAD AT THE INTERSECTION OF DYER ST.
PLEASE ENTER THE STAGING AREA FROM THE EAST ON RICE RANCH ROAD AS MOST OF THE OTHER STREETS IN ORCUTT WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC.
AT THE REGISTRATION DESK, YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ENTRY NUMBER PLACARD AND PARADE POSITION. ALL OTHER INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AT THAT TIME.
TRAFFIC/PARKING IS HEAVY ON PARADE DAY SO WE RECOMMEND THAT YOUR ENTRANTS CAR POOL IF POSSIBLE
THE PARADE ENDS AT THE INTERSECTION OF CLARK AVENUE AND TWITCHELL STREET – all entrants are required to return to the Rice Ranch Road Staging area to conclude their participation for traffic control purposes!
ALL ANIMALS ENTRANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN POOPER SCOOPERS
All ENTRANTS MUST MAINTAIN PROPER SPEED & SPACING DURING THE PARADE. YOU MAY THROW CANDY AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT SLOW DOWN THE PARADE. YOU MAY NOT HAND OUT FLYERS ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE.
ALL CHILDREN UNDER FIVE MUST BE IN VEHICLES, STROLLERS, SCOOTERS OR BIKES SO THEY CAN KEEP UP.

$30 Commercial Entry Fee
Old Town Orcutt
The Orcutt Christmas Parade is a community run event that costs about $5.000 annually to produce. These fees cover costs like restrooms, permits, barricades, printing, etc… This year to offset those fees, we have implemented a $30 entry fee for business entries. This fee is waived if you are an event sponsor. We also have included a link if you would mike to make a donation to offset the costs of the Christmas Parade.
